Do I need an appointment to get a shot?

Appointments are best. We often block off time for scheduled patients, so we encourage you to check our live schedule online before walking in. This helps you avoid a wait and skip the frustration of arriving during a reserved slot. If it's your first time visiting, plan for a few extra minutes to complete a quick consent form and ask any questions before your shot.

Why would I need a nutrient injection instead of a supplement?

Only a small percentage of nutrients from food or oral supplements actually get absorbed through digestion. Injecting nutrients directly into muscle tissue bypasses the digestive tract entirely, so more of the dose is available for your body to use.

Where on the body are the shots injected?

A straight B12 shot is typically injected into the deltoid muscle of the upper arm. Shots with additional ingredients are administered in the upper outer portion of the gluteal muscle for comfort and proper absorption.

Most patients feel little to no pain, though everyone's tolerance is different. Being relaxed, hydrated, and avoiding a recent intense workout of the injection area can all help make the experience more comfortable.

Will I bruise after getting a shot?

Bruising varies from person to person and can be more likely if you take blood-thinning medications or supplements. Staying still and relaxed during your injection helps minimize the chance of bruising.

Are the injectable solutions sterile? Where do they come from?

Yes. Our sterile solutions come from certified compounding pharmacies, including accreditation from the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB), a nonprofit that sets quality standards for pharmacy compounding nationwide.

Are there any side effects to the shots?

Side effects are generally mild or non-existent. On occasion, patients notice brief discomfort, bruising, or redness at the injection site, and less frequently lightheadedness, nausea, or flushing. True allergic reactions are extremely rare, but if you experience throat swelling or difficulty breathing, seek emergency care right away.

Can I get too much B12?

Vitamin B12 has a very low potential for toxicity, and no upper intake limit has been established for healthy individuals. That said, we recommend discussing your full health history with our team, especially if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking certain medications, to rule out any interactions before starting.

How do I know which shot is right for me?

Our team will help guide you based on your goals, whether that's more energy, immune support, faster recovery, or something else entirely. If you can't decide, we can also formulate a shot specifically for your symptoms and goals.

Do you offer discounts or shot packages?

Yes, we do offer a membership discount. It works similar to a Costco membership. $85 annually and then it applies a 15% discount on all shots and toppers.

Yes. Our B12 is derived from natural, non-animal sourced cultures, and we primarily use methylcobalamin, the most bioavailable and stable form of B12 for therapeutic results.

Can I take a shot to go?

No. Shots are medicine and are pulled up and administered on-site by our licensed team to keep every shot sterile and properly administered. This keeps every shot safe and effective for you.
